Getting started
What a project is
Think of a project as the workspace for one website. It stores that site’s sessions, heatmaps, events, funnels, and settings.

Step by step
- Use one project for your production website, for example `annurcare.online`.
- If you also have a staging site, create a separate project for staging so test traffic does not mix with real visitor data.
- Invite teammates to the project later after the main setup is working.

How to create the project
In the app, use the project switcher or the New project button. Fill in the main project details before saving.
Step by step
- Enter a project name that is easy to recognize, such as `Annurcare Website`.
- Add the main website domain exactly as visitors will use it, such as `annurcare.online`.
- Save the project and keep the generated project key ready for tracking installation.
Examples
- Project name: `Annurcare Website`
- Domain: `annurcare.online`
- Environment: production website

What to do right after saving
Creating the project is only the first step. No data will appear until tracking is installed and your site starts sending sessions.
Step by step
- Open the installation area and copy the tracking code.
- Install the script on the website or through an integration such as GTM or WordPress.
- Visit your website yourself and interact with a few pages so ClickSight can detect the first session.
